Initial responsibilities include performing the secondary research and analyses that provide the foundation for our commercial assessment projects and updating internal knowledge bases in a variety of therapeutic categories based on recent happenings in the industry.</p>
<p>Ideal candidates will have a BS in biological sciences with a minor in a quantitative field (finance minor also is a plus), excellent oral and written presentation skills, and demonstrated analytical thinking, business acumen, initiative, and an ability to successfully handle multiple responsibilities in prior work and academic situations. For the successful candidate, responsibilities will rapidly expand to include primary research, market and pipeline analyses and greater involvement on project teams.</p>
<p>MS Office knowledge with extensive experience in Excel and Powerpoint required.  Prior research analyst experience is preferred but not necessary.</p>

<p>The company&#8217;s products are based on innovative discoveries made in the world-class laboratories of two leading hair and skin biologists from Columbia University and from Durham University (UK). The company is pursuing the development of cell-based technologies that will address a range of hair disorders, with an initial focus on treatment of androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss or AGA) using hair follicle stem cells. In the longer term, the company will leverage its expertise to pursue a broader scope of therapeutic approaches and diseases, including inflammatory skin disease, burn tissue repair, and wound healing.</p>
<p>Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with the company&#8217;s seasoned management team, which has deep expertise and extensive networks in the biotech industry and private equity/venture capital community.
